Step 1: Connect the ring terminals (positive to positive, negative to negative) to your external batteries FIRST.
Step 2: Plug the adapter into your BLUETTI power station LAST.
Note: Our cable features flexible 8AWG (200°C rated) silicone wire, positive heat-shrink protection, and a factory-installed 80A inline fuse to safeguard your setup.

Because the cable creates a direct, high-current path between batteries. If you connect a 100% full external battery to a 5% depleted power station, massive equalizing currents will surge through the wire and blow the fuse. Always ensure both your BLUETTI unit and external batteries are at similar charge levels (e.g., both at 100%) before turning them on together.

Since third-party batteries don't communicate BMS data directly with BLUETTI, the power station estimates state-of-charge purely based on overall voltage curve. As you run heavy loads, the power station display will drop faster than the external battery readout (SoC Drift). This is 100% normal—power is still flowing properly!

The WattLINK-Bluetti AC200MAX cable is designed for direct connection to the BLUETTI AC200MAX. For models such as the AC300 and AC200L, due to stricter internal communication requirements, at least one official B300 expansion battery must first be connected to serve as the system "guide" (establishing the necessary communication handshake) before the port can recognize the auxiliary power input.

For safety, both units should have a voltage difference of ≤ 1V before connecting. If the voltage gap is too wide, the power station's native protection mode may trigger or the built-in 80A fuse will protect the circuit. If it pauses, let the units equalize or restart the system before reconnecting.

Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Charge Limit Settings.
